Billing questions
About plans
Do car owners pay for the platform?
No. People shipping a vehicle pay only for the transport they book. Plans are for carriers, brokers and dealers.
What counts as a load?
For brokers, shippers and dealers, each shipment you create counts once, in the month you create it. For carriers, each load you book counts. Cancelled loads don't count, and the count starts over on the 1st in your company's time zone.
What happens when I reach my plan's limit?
New loads wait until you upgrade or the next month starts. Loads already booked keep moving, and you can upgrade from billing settings at any time.
How is Fleet billed?
$39 per active truck each month. Drivers you deactivate stop counting, and Stripe prorates changes on your next invoice. Dispatchers and office staff are free.
What does it cost to take card payments on invoices?
Stripe's processing fee: 2.9% + 30¢ for cards and 0.8% (capped at $5) for bank (ACH) payments. It's taken from the payment before it reaches your balance. Your customer pays the invoice amount and nothing more.
Can I switch or cancel?
Yes. Change or cancel your plan any time from your billing settings.
How does instant payout work?
Verified carriers can send the pay from a delivered load to their bank right away for a flat 2% fee. Standard payout is free and follows the payment terms on the rate confirmation.
